Sensory & Flavor Profile
A dark, robust Belgian strong ale with intricate character, delivering abundant, pleasing malt notes, dark fruit flavors and subtle spice. Rich, complex and smooth, it can sneak up on drinkers with its high alcohol strength.

The aroma is layered and multifaceted, dominated by pronounced malt sweetness, prominent ester notes and warm alcoholic presence, alongside mild to moderate subtle spice accents. Rich, bold malt fragrance leads with hearty toasted bread aromas, often complemented by caramel tones. Fruit esters range from intense to mild, finishing with raisin, plum, dried cherry, fig and dark stone fruit scents. Spicy phenolic notes lean toward black pepper rather than clove, with faint hints of vanilla.

Appearance: Deep brown liquid. Generous, dense, mousse-like foam that lingers long, with a hue between creamy white and light brown.

Flavors mirror the aromatic profile. Moderate, full malt sweetness unfolds on the palate with careful tasting. The finish is moderately dry yet balanced with gentle sweetness. Bitterness is medium to low, with alcohol warmth offsetting malt richness. The overall balance leans toward prominent malt, dark fruit and spice notes. All intricate flavors blend seamlessly and harmoniously, without cloying heaviness or oversweetness on the finish.
